UR5e

For the investigation of the Human-Machine-Interaktion a UR 5e robot was used.

RoSA Studie

The goal of the RoSa (Robot System Assist) study was to explore different communication modalities needed for intuitive human-robot interaction. This study uses a Wizard of Oz prototyping method to enable constraint-free intuitive interaction with an industrial robot. Data from 36 subjects indicate a high preference for voice input, automatic path planning, and pointing gestures. The catalog developed during this experiment includes intrinsic gestures, suggesting that the two most popular gestures per action may be sufficient to cover the majority of users. The system scored an average of 74% on various user interface experience questionnaires, despite containing forced errors. These results enable future development of an intuitive human-robot interaction system with high user acceptance.
