Within the framework of the BMBF funding program Twenty20-Partnership for Innovation a joint project with partners from industry and science is being carried out. The aim of the BMBF project is to develop technological foundations for sensors for high-resolution and highly dynamic 3D acquisition of objects and surfaces. The subproject of the Otto-von-Guericke University focuses on large surfaces of workpieces from industrial production. The basic idea is to overcome technologically caused limitations of matrix camera systems, especially in the measurement of moving surfaces on assembly lines or continuous material, by developing line scan camera systems with suitable structured illumination.
